Grain Ethanol Distillers Association (GEDA) under the aegis of the Indian Federation of Green Energy forum was formed on 09th September 2023 in the gracious presence of Shri Bhagawanth Khuba, Hon’ble Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy & Chemicals and Fertilizers Government of India and Shri Krishna Pal, Hon’ble Minister of State for Power & Heavy Industries, Government of India at New Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi.
The use of ethanol is petrol and diesel has given the rise in the demand of grain-based ethanol also. The Forum is focused on promoting the ethanol industry in India by the way of organizing Conferences, seminars, and Industry interactions and providing inputs to the Government from time to time on various policies related to the ethanol industry and are actively involved in Policy Advocacy.
