IFGE: Solar Power Industry Forum (SPIF)

Solar Power Industry Forum (SPIF) under the aegis of Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) has emerged as a dynamic force in the fight against climate change. Demonstrating unwavering commitment, IFGE has formed a dedicated platform aimed at enhancing awareness and promoting the widespread adoption of solar energy. This strategic move underscores IFGE’s proactive role in advancing sustainable solutions to address the pressing challenges of our time. By fostering discussions, disseminating knowledge, and fostering collaboration, the SPIF stands as a beacon for those championing the cause of clean, renewable energy in India.

India’s solar industry is undergoing a transformative surge, propelled by the government’s robust commitment to renewable energy. With ambitious targets for energy security, reduced carbon emissions, and sustainable development, India positions itself as a global leader. The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) is pivotal in steering the renewable energy industry. Government initiatives, such as the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in April 2021, with an investment of INR 4,500 crores, bolster advancements in solar technology. Projections indicate an impressive expansion to USD 238 billion by 2030, reflecting a remarkable compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 40% between 2022 and 2030.

Under Solar Power Industry Forum (SPIF), we have organized a conference:
