Bio Mobility Forum (BMF)

Mr. Vikram Gulati
About Bio-Mobility
Bio-Mobility refers to the use of bio-based fuels such as bioethanol, biodiesel, compressed biogas (CBG), and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) as clean alternatives to conventional fossil fuels in transportation. It plays a pivotal role in reducing dependence on crude oil imports, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and supporting rural economies by utilizing agricultural residues and organic waste.
IFGE : Bio Mobility Forum
The Bio Mobility Forum aims to recognize the crucial role of sustainable transportation in achieving energy security, economic growth, and environmental sustainability, IFGE has established the Bio Mobility Forum to advance this vital sector.
The IFGE Bio Mobility Forum brings together industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and technology providers to drive the adoption of biofuels and promote sustainable mobility. Focused on creating a supportive environment for biofuels, the forum advocates for policies that facilitate their integration into the transportation sector. Key priorities include policy advocacy to establish a regulatory framework for biofuels, technology promotion to foster innovation in advanced biofuel production, industry collaboration to strengthen the biofuel ecosystem, and sustainability and climate action to reduce carbon emissions and support India’s net-zero goals.
